OUR SERVICES
Wrinkle Relaxers
Soften wrinkles with Botox, Dysport and Xeomin. Both products are neuromodulators indicated to smooth moderate to severe lines in the face by relaxing the muscles that create them. The most common areas for use for these products are between the brows (Glabellar), forehead (Frontalis) & around the eyes (Crow’s Feet). In addition, small doses can be added to the lower face as an adjunct to dermal fillers creating a synergistic result of volume restoration and wrinkle reduction.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive procedure that restore volume loss and soften fine lines and wrinkles. All products have individual indications and can be used for things such as cheek enhancement, hand rejuvenation, lip plumping, scar reduction and fine line correction. Some of the most common dermal fillers approved by the FDA are Radiesse, Sculptra, Juvederm, Restylane & Belotero. These products can often be used in conjunction with one another to create a complete facial rejuvenation.
Chemical Peels & Facials
We offer a variety of chemical peels and facials used to smoothen skin texture, brighten the appearance of photo damaged skin, and rejuvenate your skin and invigorate your soul! Having a thorough consultation and evaluation by one of our providers is important in order to choose the right procedure for your skin type. This is very important to be sure that you achieve the most desirable results.
Vitamin B-12 Injections
B-12 injections provide a boost of energy and vitality to restore health and maximize the body's functional capacity. Benefits of B-12 injections can include a decrease in fatigue and stress, an increase in energy, and a reduction in B-12 deficiency.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy remains the gold standard for treating superficial spider or reticular leg veins. Small needles are used to inject a sclerosant agent into the veins which destroys their inner linings - leading them to break down and fade away. Individual results may vary from patient to patient however, the average needed is 3-6 treatment every 5-6 weeks. Optimal time for treatments is in the cooler season as legs will likely look worse before they look better.
Microneedling
Microneedling is an age management treatment to reduce fine lines, minimize pore size, tighten and rejuvenate the skin, and improve the appearance of stretch marks and acne or surgical scarring. This treatment can be done with or without PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). If without, a hyaluronic acid serum is massaged into the needled channels to infuse hydration and healing properties into the skin. The Skin Stylus microneedling device is the only system that can be surgically sterilized to prevent cross-contamination from patient to patient.
Laser/Light Therapies/Hair Reduction
Restore your sun damaged and aging skin to a bright youthful glow. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) helps to decrease redness, lessen the appearance of pigmented spots, reduce pore size and improve texture and fine lines. The IPL emits a range of light waves that pass through the skin and target hemoglobin (the red blood cells in vessels) or melanin (the brown pigment in freckles and age spots) resulting in damage to the vessel wall or fragmenting the melanin pigment. These tiny vessels are then absorbed by the body and the brown spots will breakdown and sluff off.
Laser hair reduction provides hair reduction without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin.This treatment is most effective with dark hair and lighter skin and is not effective for very light or white/grey hair.
Pixel Laser Treatment is designed for patients with discoloration, sun damage, enlarged pores and rough/weathered texture skin. It is a semi-ablative laser that partially resurfaces the skin, thereby making it effective in reducing/softening acne scars. The treatment is ideally performed as a series of 2 to 6 treatments with 3 to 6 weeks of healing in between. The results of the treatments vary individually and can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months. At that point, maintenance treatments are recommended every 9 to 12 months. It is strongly recommended that patients adhere to a skin care regimen suggested by the practitioner.
Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating Treatment)
A simple procedure injecting a neuromodulator (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) into the axilla (armpit) has been shown to decrease sweating by up to 87%. Results are noticeable in several days and full effect is noted within 2 weeks and typically lasting up to one year. Research has shown that repeated treatment with neuromodulators is safe, effective, and consistently results in meaningful, long-lasting improvement in symptoms of excessive sweating and quality of life.
Training/Mentoring
We offer peer to peer aesthetic mentorship/training sessions for new to advanced medical aesthetic injectors in the comfort of your own office setting. Expert guidance is provided through both clinical and didactic delivery methods. We will assist you in enhancing your patient global assessment skills, ensure safe and efficacious results as well as gain the confidence and competency in the art of injecting neuromodulators and aesthetic facial injectables. Natalie Gallup, RN BSN is a National Aesthetic Educator, Mentor & Injector and has been in the aesthetics industry for 11 years. She mentors physicians, nurses and physicians’ assistants all over the U.S. for one of the leading aesthetic pharmaceutical companies. Natalie has been an aesthetic, plastic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology nurse since 2005, and is dedicated to the overall beauty, health and wellbeing of her patients. With a remarkable medical background, a passion for aesthetics and her intuitive aesthetic eye, she provides cutting-edge skincare treatments that yield spectacular, age-defying results without surgery. Natalie recognizes the importance of communication and trust and is dedicated to delivering effective, customized care in combination with unparalleled professional and ethical standards. She specializes in rejuvenating non-invasive treatments such as Botox, Xeomin and Dysport, various dermal fillers, laser treatments and chemical peels, and has treated thousands of satisfied patients. Natalie also works with one of the leading aesthetic pharmaceutical companies and travels throughout North America training and mentoring Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Registered Nurses on the art, skill and safety standards of facial rejuvenation. She worked as a hospital RN in the fields of Cardiology, Telemetry, step down ICU and on an Acute Stroke Unit before crossing over into Plastic Surgery Operating Room, Recovery and Aesthetics. Natalie has earned various training certificates and recognitions for multiple aesthetic modalities and treatments, and was awarded clinical educator of the year and nominated for President’s Club by her colleagues and Manager. Natalie has partnered with Dr. Sharon Slowik, Medical Director of the TriCity Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center Program, and Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Slowik is the supervising physician and partner at Jeunesse Medical Aesthetics, APC and will be present partnering with Natalie to provide premium care and service for their patients.
Sharon M. Slowik MD
Dr. Slowik has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. She became fascinated with the amazing qualities of skin while working as a physician with TriCity Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center where she worked with wound healing, hyperbaric medicine, and limb salvage, and is currently Medical Director of the program. She returned to training in Laser and Aesthetics and worked at the first JCAHO accredited hospital Laser and Aesthetics program in the nation.
She began her career in medicine in the Emergency Rooms in inner city Detroit, her home town. An honors graduate at both the University of Michigan undergraduate and Wayne State University Medical School, she subsequently moved to California to begin her family and completed her residency at Grossmont Hospital with Board Certification in Family Medicine.
Her passion for Fitness and Wellness directed her to a career in Cardiac Rehabilitation at TriCity Medical Center, where she achieved the role of Medical Director. She has counselled many over the years on lifestyle changes to include exercise and good nutrition encouraging a routine of daily exercise just like "brushing your teeth". She shares a similar passion for teaching skin care, which still involves counselling on nutrition and exercise to support healthy skin in addition to a personalized skin care routine with knowledge and an artistic eye for helping you look and feel your best - rejuvenated and renewed!
Dr. Slowik has participated in a variety of fitness activities over the years, with a current passion for boxing and cross fit and invites you to join her for the next Tough Mudder (with your sun screen and plenty of water, of course)! She is an avid reader and continues community education in heart health, fitness, and skin care.
